Patterns of settlements came from Britain, when they got to Native American land they shoved them into reservations claiming the land is theirs even though it was not, we American of today are not aborigines like the Native Americans, because we all have blood that roots to somewhere in Europe. When new immigrants from different parts of Europe came along, the pattern in how they were treated changed immensley, due to Americans feeling owners, and aborigines to the land.
