    It had a huge effect on the way people lived. They moved from hunting and gathering to agriculture. It allowed people to have permanent settlements that later became villages and cities. People before this were nomadic roaming around searching for food. It also allowed for social classes and different types of technology to emerge. This caused the civilizations of ancient Mesopotamia China and Egypt to emerge.
