    A. An increase in scientific and medical discoveries improved life expediencies.

    The increase of the population in Europe (and in the whole world) from the eighteenth century is a consequence of the improvement of the living conditions and the scientific increase in the medical areas, which extended the average human life and the possibility of having children.
