This is the name given to the nazi death camp in southwestern poland that became arguably the most notorious of all of the camps, killing approximately 1 million people from may 1940 to january 1945.

    The camp you're referring to would be Auschwitz. This camp is a possible touristic site for people to see the horrific things that had been going on there. Generally Auschwitz was the most "effective" camp in what it was designed to do out of the all the camps that existed in Europe during World War II.

This concentration camp was lead by the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Popularly known people like Anne Frank was a prisoner of this camp.
