Compare the process of independence for both Ghana and Kenya. What factors might account for the differences

Both countries had to fight for them to earn their independence, however, they differ in the person whom they struggled together. For Kenya's independence, they teamed up with Jomo Kenyatta, who is also reigned as their first prime minister. While in Ghana, they proposed a contract for their independence.
