How did the Mongols respond to the different religions that were practiced in Persia?

    They were pretty tolerant of most religions that were practiced in Persia. Genghis Khan thought of himself as the supreme ruler over all other religions so he let them all exist.

    His successor favored Buddism and Christianity even though they weren't the major religions they are now.
