    Because King Tutankhamun's tomb was sealed and mostly intact when it was found by Howard Carter, historians and archaeologists were able to learn more about the 18th Dynasty, mummification practices and the vast wealth of Egypt during this time. Similarly, scientists also studied King Tut's mummy.
