What is the Basic conflict that arose between workers and bosses as a result of industrialism

Workers demanded higher wages and safer working conditions. Industrialism created a mass consumption society, in which goods and services were at a high demand. As a result, factory owners exploited their workers in order to achieve highest efficiency and output of goods. This led to poor working conditions and low wages for workers.
