Due to conditions set forth in the treaty of versailles, germany lost much of its territory. why did this prove to be economically fatal to the nation?

    Germany thought that the decisions made by the Treaty of Versailles were very "unfair" to them. They suffered huge territorial losses in which among are included the city that is vital for the Germany economy. Among which was the German city of Danzig, in which it became a free city and was best known for its manufacturing industry.
