    The Muslims had a well organised and strong military, and Muslims accepted new converts really easily (the conversion process was pretty simple, you just had to say a few words); Muslims were very tolerant of people in conquered lands in addition to the fact that close-by empires, such as the Persian and Byzantine, were already weakened from long battles with each other.
