Does anyone know the ties between disneys brave and monsters inc

The Witch is able to disappear through doors as if she was never there. and the people which she experimented on reverted back to an animistic state when she left but still have some intelligence and eventual begin interbreeding causing an explosion in the experimental animal species (monsters) ... All fan theory though haha.

Pixar created them and Disney owns Pixar
