Gravity will greatly affect the acceleration of the vehicle going downhill.

Gravity is 9.8m/s2. Hence, we have to remember that weight and mass are two different things first. Mass is how much matter or the amount of matter an object contains and is constant. While weight is the gravitational force of the object’s mass and the earth’s gravity, in formula, W=mg. Weight varies from each planet or satellite an object is in. In reference to earth’s gravitational acceleration is the same because of the pull of the earth’s core is a constant speed of 9.8m/s2. It will not change. Hence multiplying this constant to the mass of the object equals the whole force or weight of the earth to pull this object towards it core. So mass is never the issue, weight is. Additionally, for every second, an object falls increases by 9.8 x mass = weight!
