    One of the main reasons for adding the Ninth Amendment to the constitution was to enable the people of the United States get justise and defend themseleves against any unjust measure. The Ninth Amendment basically is a statement that indicates the existence of other rights that are not included in the constitutional rights to exist for the protection of the people. It is important because there are several rights that people need to survive but are not their in the Constitution. any violation of such rights can be fought in the court of justice. It provided equality to all the people of United States.
