Almost invariably, the traditions of native Africans negatively influenced their relations with Europeans, since Europeans wished the Africans to evolve to European standards so as to extend the potency of the colonies. Although several Africans suffered below European exploitation, Africans still created vast contributions in the transfer of a number of their practices to the West. In cuisine, music and even faith, Africans injected their own culture and left an enduring impression on the West. They admired their nature, however, the standing of European was high therefore there was an excellent distinction in their standing and relations.
