    The Great Wall of China and the Berlin were both intended to (2) isolate unpopular governments. The Great Wall of China was intended to keep the Mongols from invading China and the Berlin Wall was created to separate Western Germany who was capitalist from Eastern Germany which was communist. The Great Wall of China is one of China's key tourist attractions and the Berlin Wall has been mostly teared down.
