In the early days of the United States, the central government was weak compared to the state governments. The leaders recognized there were problems with this arrangement. When they wrote the Constitution, they gave more power to the central government. The states still have authority within their borders but must follow the Constitution and its laws.     Federation is the answer, Federation is a type of government and stet where several regions have hugu number of autonomy and own lawmaking but above theme there are central federal governement which for exemple has sole right in case of foreign political relations, the system that combines federalizm and unitarism is called regionalism
