How did Lincoln force the South to fire the first shots of the war? He attacked the South. He ordered an end to slavery in the South. He ordered a supply ship to Fort Sumter. He got Congress to condemn secession.

    Lincoln purposely took away the slaves in the south, literally just to make them mad, Causing them to fire the first shots. So the answer would be, B. He ordered an end to slavery in the south.
