    Toward the conclusion and final allied victory of world war 2, the leaders of the allied powers held a meeting called the Yalta, or Crimea, Conference. Its purpose was the post-war reorganization of Europe. It took place in the city of Yalta on the Crimean Peninsula on the Black Sea in Russia.
