The progressive movement was successful in several ways, ranging from passing new acts such as the Interstate Commerce Act in 1887 and the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890, to reforms in the food and drug laws and railroad sectors. It was also successful at adding new Amendments to the Constitution.
