In 1933 the 21st Amendment was added to the U. S. Constitution, allowing for the manufacture, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages in the United States. Why was this amendment needed? A) People no longer thought alcohol was bad. B) It cancelled the 18th Amendment to the Constitution. C) It was believed that alcohol could cure most of societies worst diseases.     I think its A ... also they found of through orginized crime that keping it illeagl was way to hard and dangerous.
