The Constitution replaced the Articles of Confederation after they governed for only a few years because the people expressed a need for a stronger central government. There is still controversy today over which entity, state or nation, should hold the most power in our lives. Based on what you have learned about the Articles of Confederation, what are three advantages that have resulted in the creation of a stronger central government? What is one of the disadvantages?
