How did World War I impact women in the United States?

    During WW1, it had impacted women in the US greatly where more job opportunities were given to women since all the men were at war, women also contributed to many volunteer work such as nursing the wounded. Additionally, after the war, as the soldiers came back, it greatly impacted the men's stereotypical aspect towards women as house keepers. The women's contribution throughout WW1 also strongly supported women's rights eg, to vote, have a job, etc.
