    B. Ireland

The Vikings often raided coastal villages in the British isles and Ireland, so England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. They did heavy sea-borne or river-borne expansions into Europe and even into North Africa at times and were known for raiding and trading different locations. They raided wide areas of northern Europe and established culture and polities in these places, all the while by strengthening their own culture. Vikings came from what would now be Scandinavia and Iceland and have had influence in European Russia, the British isles and Ireland and France.
