Why did Chamberlain suggest appeasement?

    He suggested the appeasement plan because the British people, like most of Europe wanted to avoid another world war, and Chamberlain actually trusted Hitler. He said however that he would fight if the British nation was in danger.

    The appeasement plan was the idea of identifying the socio-economic problems and events of other countries and anticipate their demands and reaching compromises.

    Conditions under which he would fight;

    Chamberlain had directly stated that he was willing to fight over much more prevalent debacles in society or only be willing to fight over much greater issues facing the countries, which includes fighting in order to stop a country that was utilizing merciless and ruthless force in a valiant attempt to try and take over the world gradually. However, he also directly stated that he always prefers diplomacy as well as Chamberlain primarily favoring appeasement.
