    The Battle of the Bulge was the last big German offensive campaign in the second world war so it's no surprise that there were many people involved. A more precise number is somewhere around a million soldiers. There were around 450,000 German troops and around 600,000 allied troops, but this includes tanks and other types of troops as well.
