Was the Korean War a success for the United States? Explain your answer

    I would say that it was a failure. The US was able to push far into North Korea early in the war, however they could not hold control of it. They were pushed out when China joined in on the side of the North. Both sides continued to go at it for a few more years, both getting no where, this lead to armistice. I think If the US had been able to hold the territory they had taken control of, the war may have actually been won.
