The main reason of the German government signed the Treaty of Versailles was that they feared the threat of an attack by the Allied forces. The correct option in regards to the given question is surely the last option ... The Germans did not like the treaty of Versailles because one of the clause within the treaty mentioned the Germans to be responsible for causing the war and so they had to make territorial concessions as a fine for that. The Germans still signed the treaty as they were afraid of an attack by the allied forces.
