The answer is progressivism. It's a philosophy that believes in a continuous progression of things. The truth that there is today may become untrue the next years. There is a never ending discovery of truth which takes contradicting results or additional information for a certain truth. This is somewhat associated in perennialism or a continuous journey to understand the world; only in progressivism, there are enhancement and progression.
