    According to marquette university the russian revolution of 1917 resulted in the end of the tsar and aristocracy along with the beginning of communism. after a series of foreign wars and taxes on the russian population, the russian revolution overthrew tsar nicholas 2 in february 1917. after disagreement between the two main political parties, another revolution in october 1917 declared bolshevik vladimir lenin leader. The collapse of the Russian government.
