    The United States doesn't really have any other way for citizens to voice their opinions and participate in government except by voting. We choose who we want to lead the country by voting for senators and congressman. We don't really vote for who becomes president because that is decided by the electoral college, so that is why it is very important to vote for who we want in Congress making that decision.
