After the Europeans learned about the rich natural minerals of gold and silver in North America, they wanted more than just an exploration in the country. They wanted colonization. Since slavery and brutality was greatly pushed and implemented to the North Americans, native fathers necessitated their sons and daughters as laborers. This resulted to the contractual family relationships of Americans and the limited development of the colonial economy. There were no significant local trade communities emerged and there was no further extension of land size.
