Why were English colonists so unsuccessful at enslaving Native Americans? A. The Native Americans did not believe in slavery. B. The Native Americans were not good at farming. C.     It's D. This is because when colonists arrived in America, they didn't know the land as the Native Americans who was here for thousands of years. This allowed the native americans to escape if they were enslaved by the colonists because they know the land so familiarly.
