The people of India wanted to protect themselves from the atrocities of the British. They were not save in the hands of British. They want to protect their own culture and religion.

India and America were under the rules of the British, and they were ruled by the force. The American revolution was driven by the desire to guarantee the rights of the Englishmen. India sought rights which were somewhat alien to the English domestic population.

It was the different culture and time periods that influenced the way that both of the countries went about obtaining their freedom.
