There were several factors that influenced the push and pull factors of immigrants coming to each region of English colonies. Religion in different colonies pulled and pushed different types of people. Fertility of the colonial lands also played a major part in their decision making. People having specific skills like blacksmith, school teacher were required for every colony. So people tried to reach out to those places that had the shortage of the skills they specialized in. Wealthy immigrants were accepted in all the places they went.
