Read this quote, then answer the question below: "Palestine is the cement that holds the Arab world together, or it is the explosive that blows it apart." - Yasser Arafat, 1974 Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat made the above statement during an interview with Time Magazine (November 11, 1974). Based on this quote, which of the following statements would Arafat also agree with? If Palestinian peace does not happen, all Middle East nations will turn to chaos and violence. All the nations of the Middle East look to Palestine for guidance in how to cooperate peacefully. It is the Palestinians themselves, not the Israelis, who must find the path to peace in the Middle East. Most Middle Eastern nations have too many problems to concern themselves with the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

In this quote, we must understand that it means:-

Palestine is where all the peace takes place, if Palestine is destroyed, the rest of the Arab states will we be.

Thats pretty much what is happening in the world today. Gaza, Palestine is getting destroyed by the Israelis, and now ever since that has been happening, look at the rest of the Arab countries. They are in ruins, most are getting bombed because they are un-uniting. The only reason that Palestine holds all of the Arab countries is because of its holy mosque, Jerusalem. Also because they were united with one religion, now, the religion is breaking apart, and many lives are being lost because of a very simple argument, Sunni and Shi'a.

Final answer: If Palestinian peace does not happen, all Middle East nations will turn to chaos and violence.
