    (C) Planetary motion was discovered by Greek Philosophers as was the Heliocentric model of our solar system, which had the Sun in the center rather than the Earth as previous models. The social contract was something of Hobbes and Locke during the time of the enlightenment. Discovering the human body and its secrets was a constant in both of these periods. That leaves (C) as the only viable answer from my subjective perspective.
