How was the economic struggle during the great depression different for rural americans than for those who lived in cities?

    Rural citizens weren't really affected by the depression, unless you were a farmer the dustbowl would've ruined you. But city people would have been fired from their jobs or given major paycuts, making it harder to pay for housing and food.
