How did the Constitution improve upon the Articles of Confederation? Give examples

    Well, the constitution replaced the Articles of Confederation because the Articles of Confederation gave the states too much power. Infact, it created a 'loose confederation' of sovereign states and a weak central government, so they replaced it to have a strong central government and was ratified by all thirteen states on March 1, 1781.
