In what ways was England's experience of absolutism different from that of other countries' experiences?

If you mean in terms of absolute monarchy here is my opinion.

England's monarch was also head of the Anglican Protestantism, thus the monarch had also a great influence on the English church. Who believed in the English church, was thus also supposed to believe in the English monarch. I think this made people less rebellious towards this form of government compared to other countries. That's one of the reasons why there still is a monarchy in England nowadays ... in my opinion
