The place had many animals scientists like Darwin could study in a long period of time without interruption. Darwin believed in evolution, and the islands were a place were the animals were not disturbed by humans. They could show evolution take place. Is that useful?

Because there are several species of animals there that don't exist anywhere else in the world.
