These discoveries led to good relationship with neighbours. Firstly the Europeans tried to expand their reach along the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean and this resulted in confrontation between those that had already established a footing. The other barbarian tribes also resisted the Europeans as they were unable to take to the new European discoveries and culture.
