Although President Wilson did NOT want to punish Germany, Great Britain and France did. They got their way. How was Germany punished? Its colonies were taken away. Some land of Germany itself was taken away and given to neighboring countries. Germany was forced to pay reparations. all of the above

    They had to reduce there army and they also had to pay for the repercussions of the war
