How do the dynamics change in baroque music?

    One way they obtained dynamics was to add more instruments.

    The composer would start with the second violins, then the first violins would come in with them making double the sound=dynamics, then violas. To play p (piano dynamic) maybe one violin would have solo with other strings playing softly the same note backing up the solo.
