Why did halifax claim appeasement was the right policy? what, if any, evidence did he use to back this claim?

    The appeasement can be traced back in Britain’s concern throughout the inter war years to avoid international conflict and minimize defense costs. Halifax chooses appeasement as the right policy not to go to war with Germany.

    Evidence used was that Hitler didn’t want war, it was the Rothschilds Central bankers who wanted the war with Germany.
