Where did Marco Polo travel during his lifetime, and what were his goals?

    Marco Polo did a major travel to the east of Italy, where he was from. He went to Constantinople, Trebizond, Terbil, Samrkand, Kashgar, Karakorum, Lanzou, Beijing, Hangchow, Chengdu, Pagan, Bakh, Ormuz, Bagdad and Acre. These are all names that were given to the cities at the time and now these cities either have different names or different spellings of the name above. Marco Polo's goals were to have adventures and to discover the Spice Route and to discover Asia.
