    The Berlin Conference took place in the year 1884 - 1885 and was also known as the Congo Conference or West Africa Conference. The conference took place among the European powers to avoid fighting among themselves and diving the country of Africa as per the needs of the Europeans. It was unfair to the Africans because their consent was never taken while dividing the country. the country of Africa got divided among the Europeans based on the colonization and the trades that were done. this was the time during which the country of Germany started coming to the forefront as a global power.
