3. What would the economic implications for both exporting countries and importing countries be if the world were not so interdependent? Explain how a world with less interdependence would affect your life.

Let's imagine that we're not interdependent, in such a world, you would not be able to easily get chocolate or coffee since most of cocoa comes from South America and Africa. If you had to rely on your own resources, then you wouldn't get many things because the climate is not appropriate for all types of foods everywhere, meaning you couldn't grow cocoa in the United States of America or Canada for example without special ways to do it in closed areas that are monitored all the time. Countries work together on importing and exporting and share goods that they both need. Some need cocoa, others need oil and natural gas, others need sugar and paper.
