Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. Do you think he wanted to see America form a strong central government? Why or why not?

    He was against it because he was an anti-federalists. He opposed it because he believed that a strong central government could become tyrannical and that states could lose their freedom that they had won from the British. He opposed Hamilton who was a federalist and he was a president of the US.
