During the Battle of Midway, the Allies destroyed Japan's naval advantage. The correct option among all the options given in the equation is the third option. It was during the Battle of Midway that Japan lost 4 of its carriers and it almost broke the back of the navy of Japan. This battle did not destroy the naval wing of Japan completely, but the Battle of Leyte gulf surely destroyed any reining credibility of the Naval wing after Japan had lost its edge previously.
