In the ramayana, why is the character of sita important to young girls today?

Sita is the symbol of female purity and virtue in the Indian religion. In the Ramayana, she is portrayed as the avatar of Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu's consort. She followed her husband into exile and was always faithful to him, loving her family above everyone and everything else.
